As the Formula 1 shines in the east, retailers are pulling up their socks with merchandise to attract the Asian markets. Hublot, the official watchmaker of Formula 1, has unveiled a special edition of 200 pieces for India as it becomes the sixth nation to host the world championship. The watch features the Swiss automatic Hublot calibre HUB4100 movement with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph plus a power reserve of 42 hours. The case comes in 18kt king gold plus the bezel is satin-finished in gold plus black ceramic. It also features 6 black PVD titanium H-shaped relief screws plus an AR-coated sapphire crystal. It’s water resistant to 100 mts plus has an adjustable black Nomex strap with orange, white plus green stitching, symbolising the colours of the Indian flag, stitched on black rubber.
